157 Specifications
The X12 Transaction Set contains the format and establishes the data contents of the Notice of Power of Attorney Transaction Set (157) for use within the context of an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) environment. This bi-directional transaction set can be used to notify entities of the existence of a power of attorney and to provide information as to its applicability. The transaction set may also be used to acknowledge powers of attorney or their cancellation.
